Each etching is classified as an original. My etchings are produced from a traditional,
centuries old technique using a copperplate. I "needle" my drawing into the copperplate then etch it in a corrosive bath to
bite in the lines. Sometimes I also use drypoint technique to needle the plate, after the etching process. When ready to
print, I ink the plate and hand-pull each print. Some prints are a product of a special, unique inking of the plate which
produces a one-of-a-kind monoprint. I also hand-tint some of the etchings with watercolor or gild some areas with 22Kt gold
to produce a very special print. All products used in the etching print are archival--paper and framing.
